God Give Peace To My Country- Unity In Diversity

“If Sikhs get Khalistan, then they fight for Jattstan and Lubanastan and Ramdasiastan...

Sikhs, Hindus, and Muslims need to live with each other with peace my friend.

Separating ourselves [regarding some Sikhs demanding separate state] from India will not help in prosperity of Khalistan.

Diversity is the key to success. We need to move on, thinking about past is not productive. btw i am jatt sikh”, DesiHumanist
This Punjabi song by Rabbi Shergill subtly shows the demons facing our India. Well the YouTube page has discussions and there are many thoughts, but the above thought captures the need of hour.

Why? Why are some people so persistent on troubling our peace-loving country?

  1. What loving country are you talking about??? The same one where the National Hindu Congress instigated a systematic genocide of Sikhs in 1984 in many different parts of India, by hiring angry mobs. These mobs belonged to the Hindu religion. Stop blaming the Sikhs and stop saying that we cause trouble. Sikhs deserve Khalistan.

  2. @Anonymous

I agree what happened in 1984 is tragic - a burden of history on our shoulders. And I hasten to add that I cannot claim I understand your feelings - because only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches.

Regarding your claim that the then office-bearers of Government of India hired angry mobs, I will have to do some research to believe it. I hope this is false, but when you pay someone to do something, and he offers his 'services', does the religion matter? Think about it.

Brother / Sister, no one here is blaming anyone.

But, I disagree with your claim for Khalistan. As much as we kid ourselves, running a sovereign state requires a machinery far far bigger than can be managed, if this endeavor succeeds. If you achieve this, you guys will start putting your brothers down for selfish means. This is universal human tendency, nothing specific. You should try reading Animal Farm by George Orwell to get the idea of what I am saying.

Well, like they say in America, "... all threats, foreign and domestic" - so if someone is against India, then, yes, he is a threat, and must be dealt accordingly.

I hope I have been able to put across my views on this sensitive topic.

  3. I am also called for ssb interview (fresher 1st time). I have not decided to go for a career in navy.So , just thinking to go their for experience.
So , will it be fruitful to attend interview despite knowing that this is not to be taken as a career so far.

Secondly , my height & weight are not as desired in the call letter.

    1. Congratulations on being selected for the SSB Interview. Right now you have decided that you do not want to join military and that's okay.

I recommend you still go to the Interview. You will learn many things, and you may not get another chance after a few years. Yes, it will be a fruitful exercise.

Regarding weight, it can be managed with a few months of sincere exercise/gym. Regarding height, I am not sure how the Medical Board will handle once you clear the five-day SSB Interview. But, as we discussed, you leave this to the Interview Board and focus on your trip and enjoying experience of the SSB.

      Good luck!
